Project update

NOVEMBER 2025

We’re excited to share the latest progress from our Dawley development, where the scaffolding has now come down to reveal four one-bedroom apartments.
This scheme uses Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs), a modern, factory-engineered building system designed to deliver energy-efficient, sustainable homes that meet the needs of today and the future.
Part of a wider regeneration programme in Dawley, the development replaces the former, disused council offices with new homes that bring fresh life to the area and contribute positively to the local community.

R1 Construction is pleased to announce the start of a new residential development on Dawley High Street in partnership with Housing Plus Group. The project involves the delivery of four one-bedroom apartments for social rent, utilising Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) to deliver energy-efficient homes that meet modern sustainability standards.

The development includes the demolition of the former council offices, which are no longer suitable for use and marks the next step in a broader regeneration initiative aimed at revitalising Dawley and providing much-needed quality housing in the area.

This development reflects the shared vision of R1 Construction and Housing Plus Group to support urban renewal through innovative and sustainable building solutions, delivering homes that are both affordable and environmentally responsible.
