Tom recently celebrated his 1 year anniversary at R1 Construction, so we asked the Architectural Technician what he has achieved in his first year at the company...
''I’ve been at R1 for over a year and I have done a lot of design work on commercial and domestic properties. I really enjoy working on the 3D visual aspects to give a perspective of how the project will eventually look, and I am now starting to take on detailing work for live projects.
The support R1 has given me in this short journey has been second to none. I feel I have greatly developed my skills and knowledge within the construction sector.
I’m also at Shrewsbury College one day a week doing a HNC in Construction & the Built Environment.
After completing my first year, I have achieved distinctions in my assignments which I am very proud of.
I’m looking forward to my future within R1, continuing to develop my own personal skills and watching the company strive for further success.''
