The Scaffolding is Down!
We’re excited to share the latest progress from our Dawley development, where the scaffolding has now come down to reveal four one-bedroom apartments.
This scheme uses Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs), a modern, factory-engineered building system designed to deliver energy-efficient, sustainable homes that meet the needs of today and the future.
The project involves the delivery of four one-bedroom apartments for social rent, utilising Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) to deliver energy-efficient homes that meet modern sustainability standards.
The development includes the demolition of the former council offices, which are no longer suitable for use and marks the next step in a broader regeneration initiative aimed at revitalising Dawley and providing much-needed quality housing in the area.
Ben Tomkinson, Managing Director of R1 Construction, commented: “This project exemplifies our commitment to sustainable construction and community regeneration. By integrating SIP technology, we can offer homes that significantly reduce energy consumption and environmental impact. We are proud to contribute to this transformation on Dawley High Street, creating a space that meets the evolving needs of the community.”
This development reflects the shared vision of R1 Construction and Housing Plus Group to support urban renewal through innovative and sustainable building solutions, delivering homes that are both affordable and environmentally responsible.
