Having entered a closed tender R1 was successful in securing the contract to carry out the project to construct a new sports hall with teaching spaces, WCs and ancillary spaces.

 

The site posed challenging hurdles with the building planned to be built on made-up ground and a raised playground sitting above the new build that would require excavating along and potentially undermining the retaining walls, we carried out the full structural below and above ground design along with M&E specification and SBEM calculations.  

 

Despite many logistical and underground obstructions, the project was successfully delivered on budget and much to the client's satisfaction.
